1911 Springfield Operator - In my opinion, the most solidly built, reliable and useful 1911 of all personal defense rifle designs is an example of quality, ie. Most model 1911s made today sell for cheap.

They are the highest level of entertainment. Original made from the best materials and made to the highest standards. Although modern manufacturing makes precision work and hand-fitting more expensive, it is not cheap.

1911 Springfield Operator

Springfield Loaded Operator is not the original 1911, my Jeep 1939 Willys, but certainly has been seen and built in most of the attributes of the breed. I don't invest in exceptional talent.

The people who save their lives with guns deserve to be taught more than the weapons they are given. Also, the 1911 pistol has little, if any, background.

The 1911 is my favorite rifle and I have been carrying it professionally for over 40 years. I was never given a piece, but bought on my own dime and learned on my own time.

Pistol has confidence and a business-like appearance that says more than words can say.

The 1911 is safe and secure when cocked and cocked to the rear. The safety moves the sear of the hammer, and the grip safety locks the trigger.

Gun Review: Springfield 1911 Trp Service

There is no better first round gun than a properly locked and locked 1911 rifle. Modern 1911s (in good examples) are better in endurance than the originals, and even more reliable.

Anyone can make a cheaper gun and there are cheaply made 1911s. Springfield is building more on recent history than the 1911.

For example, the original Springfield Bureau model is supposed to fire 25,000 rounds without a single failure when a group of five is taken into a 1.25-inch group at 25 meters at the beginning and end of the test.

This is even more impressive than the performance of the 1911. The Loaded Carrier seen here is not a Bureau model, but it is not far from a rifle.

Ao Review: Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded Marine Corps Operator

The "Operator" moniker refers to the Springfield 1911 with a rail. There are several options available to him, including Marine Corps (MC), Long Beach, and TRP Carrier.

At over $1,200, the loaded Operator Model isn't cheap, but it's half the price of some high-end 1911 pistols. In my opinion, it gives less than a more expensive pistol and performs better than a cheap gun.

In short, this is a good buy and among the best 1911 guns out there. The pistol is finished Springfield Armory Cote. It is durable, self-lubricating.

Armory Cote makes the pistol a little slower than the holster, but the slide is a little slippery for advertising. The pistol, like all 1911s, uses rear serrations that are easier for most of us to shoot, while the pistol has a forward-cocking series.

The transition from the slide to the frame in the dust cover is very well done, with a cut ball tip usually only found in a $2,000 gun.

The pistol has also been made with a G10 grip. The front and back are slightly different. The result is abrasion and excellent adhesion. The pistol has a modern carbon safety. This safety helps keep the hand on proper fire.

A memory bump in the safety allows the shooter to keep the trigger depressed. Some shooters practice thumb forward firing: lifting the palm of the safety grip, stopping the trigger.

Springfield's stability with memory collisions eliminates this concern. The pistol has an ambidextrous slide lock safety. Security is well installed and the room itself is very clean. The pistol also features Novak Low Mountain sights.

Pat Cascio's Product Review: Springfield Armory Trp Vs Trp Operator

Each is dovetailed in place, and the rear sight is adjustable for windage. The sights are properly adjusted for the 230-grain load and hold for six hours. The trigger pull is a smooth 4.9 pounds. and smooth (very smooth) with fast refresh.

Compared to the GI-type 1911, the Springfield Operator is a very sophisticated rifle. Note the ambidextrous safety, beavertail grip safety, night sight, forward cocking, light rail and Armory Cot.

The pistol has been fired with a variety of practice loads and service ammunition, including lead bullet loads and blank service loads.

When the FBI tested the Springfield .45, many believed that Remington could not achieve the accuracy under the FBI contract with a full-power jacketed hollow point bullet.

Range Report: Springfield Trp 1911

The Golden Saber 230-grain JHP in the original Buro model was matched to the 1.25-inch 25-yard standard group and the contract was sealed for both Springfield and Remington. Springfield pistols respond well to trained shooters.

The combination of good sights and a clean trigger makes for good control. The pistol, at 40 ounces, is slightly heavier than a 1911. This results in good control. The pistol is more accurate than any 1911 we have tested.

While fire control and shot control is paramount, the absolute accuracy is interesting and shows the care in the production.

I took the pistol from another hard bench and found a piece capable of groups of five shots in 25 inches by two inches (sometimes less), depending on the skill of the shooter.

Springfield Armory Range Officer Elite Operator 1911, By Pat Cascio

I have been a government model for many years. If the right leather or Kydex holsters are chosen, it is not difficult to hide the gun under clothing. You will notice that the gun has but the length of the flat 1911 offers excellent balance.

Using the correct gun belt is important. The Galco N3 on the waist has a tunnel loop on the back of the holster, keeping the holster close to the body. Nice angle of attack. The Galco Striker Kydex holster is my choice.

This holster allows for a good draw angle. This type of holster is essential for some work as you develop your gun skills.

Concealed holsters should be a good training routine, but on the other hand, you can't run before you run, and the Stryker is perfect for multi-range training.

My First 1911! I Believe! 1st Gen Sa Mc Loaded Operator.

It will hide the gun in a long winter coat and is a good choice for 1911 when traveling or in the field.

The Springfield Loaded Operator is one of the most reliable rifles out there. It is as reliable as a gun I have ever used, and more than most. It's a solid friend.
